English: Ysgol Gynradd Llanystumdwy Primary School In October 2007 Gwynedd Council began to consider plans for the reoganisation of primary schools in the county. 29 schools were earmarked for closure and most of the rest would be "federalised" or combined into new schools. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/north_west/7052378.stm
Llanystumdwy school, which was attended by Lloyd George is one which is threatened with closure. A vigorous campaign has already started to fight the plans. |
