| Description |
English: Wye Valley from 30,000 feet. On a flight from Luton to Kerry the plane passed over the Wye valley between Boughrood and Builth Wells. The River Wye can be seen running through the centre of the picture. The woodland towards the bottom is in SO1039 and Builth Wells is just under the cloud in the top left of the picture. The sections of brown moorland just above the centre are Aberedw and Llandeilo hills. Although this image covers 20 or more squares I have allocated it to this square at Erwood where the river makes a sharp left then right bend in the centre of the picture.
