Description

A view of visitors lounging on beach towels at Wyandot Lake. Wyandot Lake, a water amusement park, opened on May 24, 1984. It closed in 2006 after it was purchased by the Columbus Zoo. It reopened two years later under the name Zoombezi Bay. The photograph also features the Sea Dragon roller coaster, the Twin Skippers water slides, and the Star Fish Ferris wheel.
