Description
English: Hampi - The world heritage site.This image is of world famous stone car,also called as chariot.The Vijayanagara Kings seem to have been inspired by the sun temple at Konark in Orissa and built a similar one here. This carved on a single hard granite rock. You will also find this chariot back side of Indian 50 rupee note.
