Über dem Eingangsportal ließ der Erbauer die fünf olympischen Ringe nebst den Initialen seines Namens anbringen. Damals das größte Wohnhaus im Ort, diente es zusammen mit seiner Ehefrau dem Physiker Otto Hahn, Direktor des von Berlin nach Tailfingen ausgelagerten Kaiser-Wilhelm-Instituts für Atomphysik, von Herbst 1943 bis zu seiner Verhaftung im April 1945 als Refugium.English: The in 1935 built lodging-house of Julius Hakenmüller (born 1888), the oldest son and successor of the foundator of the enterprise Johannes Hakenmüller at the Panoramastraße in 72461 Albstadt-Tailfingen.
Over the entrance the builder installed the five olympic circles beside the initials of his name. At that time the greatest lodging-house in town, it was together with his wife the refugee for the physicist Otto Hahn and his wife, director of the from Berlin outsourced Kaiser-Wilhelm-Institut for Atomphysics, from autumn 1943 up to his arrest in april 1945. |
