Polski: Wodzenie niedźwiedzia we wsi Miedary (woj. śląskie, pow. tarnogórski). Grupa ostatkorzy przechodzi od domu do domu czyniąc dużo hałasu i zamieszania. Zgodnie ze zwyczajem gospodyni powinna zatańczyć z berem (osobą w stroju niedźwiedzia), co ma przynieść gospodarstwu szczęście i dostatek. Zwyczaj związany jest z końcem karnawału, praktykowany zwykle we wtorek przed Środą Popielcową lub w ostatnią sobotę karnawału.
English: Leading the bear is practiced in many Upper Silesian towns and villages in carnival period. The groups with the bear go from house to house making a lot of noise. According to the custom the housewife should dance with the bear, which ensure happiness and prosperity. |
