English: WLM Galaxy is a barred irregular galaxy on the outer edges of the Local Group 3.04 million ly away in the constellation Cetus - No horizontal-branch population, only new and old stars (formed on starburst 13 billion years ago) - Being away from other galaxies gives WLM a "pristine" state and population useful for comparative studies -
