Summary
[edit]DescriptionWinter bronzing (3117822856).jpg | Wallangarra white gum (Eucalyptus scoparia), a common Sydney street tree, showing signs of thaumastocoris infestation, producing the effect known as winter bronzing. Thaumastocoris peregrinus, a heteropteran, infests Eucalyptus scoparia and Eucalyptus nicholii, initially causing the leaves to turn red, then reddish yellow. The leaves are then dropped and the tree may be doomed. Como NSW Australia, January 2008. |
