Summary
[edit]DescriptionWinestead Ings Lane Crossing - geograph.org.uk - 1635251.jpg |
English: Winestead Ings Lane Crossing, Winestead, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The remains of the single track (at this point) Hull to Withernsea Railway are seen at several of the old level crossings along this line. In October 1964, the line was closed to passengers, but this very small section of track looks as though it could have been in use yesterday! The trackbed is now a 'permissive' bridleway. The crossing here is on the very minor Winestead Ings Lane. |
