Summary
[edit]DescriptionWinchester Mystery House (5570163978).jpg |
Located in San Jose, Winchester Mystery House is one of the most bizarre tourist traps in all of the San Francisco Bay Area. It was the home of Sarah Winchester, the widow and heir to the Winchester rifle fortune. She commissioned this house, believing that by keeping the house in perpetual construction and building features that confuse the ghosts of those gunned down by Winchester rifles, she could keep herself safe from the haunts of those ghosts. And sure enough, construction continued until Winchester's death. |
