Goldesborough.—Another name in the list of scholars andfellows of Corpus of interest to men of Wilts is that of AugustineGolsborowgh. He was admitted scholar 24th March 155s 9, onthe Wilts foundation, and was chosen a probationary fellow4th October 1561 ; B.A., 1565 ; M.A., 1568. He was at Corpusin 1565, but in 1572 his name appears in a list of GloucesterHall. If this latter statement is correct (the name Augustineappears to be an editorial addition), the reason of his migration isdoubtless to be sought in the regulation at tin- former college bywhich all Fellows of M.A. standing were required to assume HolyOrders.
