Polski: Wilhelm Sasnal, uznawany przez wielu krytyków za czołowego malarza swojego pokolenia, w swojej twórczości kieruje się głównie emocjami, przerabiając na malarstwo wszystko, co go zajmuje, intryguje i fascynuje. Bez tytułu (Anka) to jeden z licznych obrazów artysty przedstawiających członków jego rodziny (żona Anka i dzieci, Kacper i Rita). Wyróżnia się jednak siłą przedstawienia. Naga żona w ciąży to kobieta wyemancypowana, podmiotowa, samodzielna. Przedstawienie to kontrastuje ze znanymi z historii sztuki wyobrażeniami macierzyństwa, które akcentowały raczej tkliwość, emocjonalne ciepło czy oczekiwanie. Kobieta-ikona na obrazie Sasnala wyróżnia się pierwotną siłą i współczesną samowiedzą. |
