Description
English: The wikio structure was an adopted architectural style that created a corridor that joined two buildings while creating a tunnel-like passage from where it crossed the street. Structural elements used beneath it adopts the banaa, which is a support structure meant to keep the wikio flooring stable.
Kiswahili: Muundo wa wikio ulikuwa mtindo wa usanifu uliopitishwa ambao uliunda korido iliyounganishwa na majengo mawili wakati wa kuunda kifungu kama handaki kutoka mahali kilipovuka barabara. Vipengele vya kimuundo vinavyotumiwa chini yake vinakubali banaa, ambayo ni muundo wa usaidizi unaokusudiwa kuweka sakafu ya wikio kuwa thabiti.
