Summary
[edit]DescriptionWikiGTME Earth's core elements throughout Phanerozoic.jpg |
English: This drawing illustrates the movement of the Earth’s core elements (inner core, outer core and the densest part of the lower mantle) throughout most of the Phanerozoic Eon according to the Gravity Theory of Mass Extinction (GTME). As described in the theory, the displacement of the core elements is determined by the net position of the center of mass (or center of gravity) of all continental land masses relative to the equator. This linkage is based on the scientific principle of conservation of angular momentum. The further the center of mass moves away from the equator, the further the core elements move away from Earth-centricity, resulting in major changes in surface gravity on the surface of the Earth. As the core elements move toward Earth-centricity resulting from the continental mass moving toward the equator, surface gravitation increases causing extinction. |
