English: Over 160 U.S. service members, allied partner country military members, and civilians took part in the Norwegian foot march in Wiesbaden, Germany, April 14, 2023. The competitors started the 18.6-mile challenge at about 6 a.m. with each carrying a rucksack weighing at least 24 lbs. U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden hosted the competition in recognition of how Norwegian Army soldiers would march over a long distance from one place another in a short period of time.
