Deutsch: Ehemaliges barocke Hochaltarbild der Stiftskirche des Schottenstiftes im 1. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Innere Stadt. Das Hochaltarbild mit dem Motiv „Himmlische Glorie“ und einer Größe von rd. 7 mal 4 Meter ([1]) wurde 1671 von Joachim von Sandrart gemalt und befindet sich jetzt im ehemaligen Prälatensaal, der jetzt als Fest- und Konzertsaal genutzt wird: [2]. Im Zuge einer Renovierung und Umgestaltung der Stiftskirche von 1883 bis 1887 durch Heinrich Ferstel und Max Haas wurde der barocke Hochaltar mit dem Sandrart-Bild durch einem im Stil der italienischen Frührenaissance ersetzt: [3]. |
