Deutsch: Das Lapidarium (sogenannte „Mausoleum“) im Schottenstift auf der Freyung im 1. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Innere Stadt und in der Bildmitte der Abgang zur Krypta.
Das Lapidarium wurde im Zuge der großen Umbauarbeiten unter Abt Andreas Wenzel von 1826 bis 1832 als Verbindung zwischen dem Südflügel des Stiftes und der Kirche errichtet. Die Leitung der Umbauarbeiten hatte der Architekt Josef Georg Kornhäusel inne und als Baumeister fungierte Joseph Adelpodinger, wobei die Bildhauerarbeiten von Jakob Schroth geschaffen wurden, darunter die Aufstellung der Epitaphe im Lapidarium: [1].
