Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Why the stile? This is the church of St Clydey. At several of the Anglican churches (Yr Eglwys yng Nghymru) in this area we find a stile immediately beside the gates. Why? Was there a tradition that the gates were only opened for special occasions such as weddings and funerals?
