[edit]DescriptionWhoa!! (15174871350).jpg |
Since the main road to Fiskardo was broken, all traffic had to go "round the back of the mountain" on the old road. Three of the villages had been given traffic lights since they are a very tight fit for large vehicles. The engineer in me couldn't resist the thought "0.1mm isn't a lot of warning..." (A Greek µ means 'micro' in SI unit notation, so "100µm" means 100 micrometres or 0.1mm.) Of course, to the Greeks, a µ is just an m, for metre. |
