Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Great Basin National Park is a relatively new and small park in eastern Nevada, SE of Ely and close to the Utah border. This was my first trip - it was nice. There are some trails, but not many. The big draw is Lehman Caves - where the usual stalactites and stalagmites look eerily like the inside of the human body. I visited the park on a very clear, cold and windy day in October 2008.
