Bryce Morgan, an Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician assigned to Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Africa, attaches the base of the RTR-4 portable digital x-ray system onto the tri-pod before scanning a container for indicators of an improvised explosive device at Naval Air Station Sigonella, Italy, Nov. 29, 2016. EOD technicians practice disarming IED’s using the RTR-4 portable digital x-ray system to certify the proper, and effective use of the equipment, and to prepare them for any operation while forward deployed.
