| Description |
English: Wetland. Easily accessible and viewable wetland habitat at the foot of the Lammermuir Hills. Noisy today with snipe (Gallinago gallinago) drumming and calling as well as a healthy population of other waders and ducks. The new woodland on dryer ground was also lively with stonechat (Saxicola torquata) and whinchat (Saxicola rubetra) in residence. Taken from the track running along the hillfoot. |
