Description |
English: Like many high schools in the 1920s, West Seattle High School taught what were called "Commercial Subjects." Students learned how to staff an office, manage supplies, type and take dictation, and do other business tasks. At this time, most high school students did not go to college. In this photo, taken around 1921, students inventory and distribute textbooks in the Book Room at West Seattle High School. Handwritten on sleeve: West Seattle High Interiors.
