April 2011 - 11. September 2011)English: Model of the Große Halle (also called Ruhmeshalle or Volkshalle) with the great basin.
The entire architectural model is composed of three parts resp. segments: The central part (from the triumphal arch to the Volkshalle) was built for the 2004 movie Downfall (Oliver Hirschbiegel) and is not a fully accurate realization of the Generalbauinspektor's plan. For the 2005 movie "Speer und Er" (Heinrich Breloer) the model was expanded with the significantly more precise southern and northern railway stations and its forecourts. Part of the Myth "Germania" and the "Temple City" of Nuremberg exhibition at the Documentation Center in Nuremberg (April 7, 2011 - September 11, 2011). |
