English: Tottenham Hale Station forecourt - 10:35 am on Sunday 4 May 2008.
One reason people dislike buses and tubes is the tide of litter. Though it's noticeable that most people at least try to use the bins and bags provided. Until they are crammed full. By the way, that's a not a candy-striped rabbit on top of the litter bin. It's a bag of rubbish which won't fit in the bin. Much of this station is covered by CCTV. So there should be no problem reporting when litter lies all around, deep and crisp. And even sweeping it. But effective action would need inter-agency coordination and - probably - a pooled budget.
