Description
English: Waters Meeting junction, Bridgewater Canal This is the point where the three parts of the Bridgewater Canal meet. Behind us is Leigh and Barton swing aqueduct. To the left the canal passes Old Trafford heading for Manchester and the Rochdale canal. To the right the canal heads through Sale to reach Preston Brook and Runcorn. The area is a mass of bridges; footbridges, pipe bridges and railway bridges.
