Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Water Transfer, Salt End, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
The water is being transferred here from Burstwick Drain into Hedon Haven at high tide to try and ease flooding possibilities in south east Holderness during the heavy rainfall of January 2008. Normally, water would only flow into the Haven from the drain at low tides under gravity.
