| Description |
English: Wasteland north of the A66 The area between the A66 and railway line has been wasteland since the factories closed during the recession of the 1980s.
It is perhaps a testament to industrial contamination that so little vegetation has grown in the succeeding 25 years. However there is a sign nearby stating that the land has been acquired for development. |
