Nederlands: Gedenkmonument in het centrum van Emmen, dat bestaat uit een beeld van keramiektegels dat een opengescheurde archiefdoos voorstelt. In de archiefdoos zijn fragmenten van archiefstukken van de gemeente Emmen afgebeeld, maar ook het gedicht 'de achttien doden' van Jan Campert. Met het openscheuren van de archiefdoos willen de kunstenaars aangeven dat er (in archieven) nog vele stukken die herinneren aan de Tweede Wereldoorlog bewaard zijn gebleven, en die aan de vergetelheid ontrukken.
