Object history Das Pferd weist auf die vielen vor- und frühgeschichtlichen Funde im Gemeindegebiet hin. Auf einer dabei ausgegrabenen keltischen Silbermünze ist ein Pferd abgebildet. Der Schlüssel ist dem Wappen der Herren von Schlüsselberg entnommen, die 1114 erstmals urkundlich erwähnt werden und 1347 ausgestorben sind. Sie waren Lehensinhaber in Altendorf.
