Deutsch: Der Stab (Vogtstab) weist auf die Vogtei von Selsingen, die die größte Vogtei des Erzbistums Bremen, nämlich die Börden Selsingen, Sittensen, Elsdorf und Hesedorf, innehatten, hin. Von dem Schwert ist zu sagen, daß es das äußerlich sichtbare Zeichen einer Auszeichnung darstellt, die dem Heyenricus de Selsinge für seine Verdienste im Kampf gegen die Heiden in Livland zuteil geworden war. |
