Das Wappen zeigt unter blauem Schildhaupt, darin eine silberne linksschräge Wolfsangel, in Silber eine blaue Weintraube mit zwei grünen Blättern.

Erklärung:

Die linksschräge Wolfsangel im Schildhaupt ist dem Wappen des trierischen Vasallengeschlechts Coenen entnommen, das von 1660 bis 1677 nachweisbar ist. Das Siegel des Henrich Harthard Coenen an einer Urkunde vom 11.9.1660 zeigt das Herz, senkrecht von einem Schwert durchstochen, dahinter eine linksschräge Wolfsangel. Da das Herz und Schwert offenbar auf den Vornamen Harthard Bezug nehmen, sind diese Symbole fortgeblieben. Die blaue Weintraube nimmt auf den Weinbau der Gemeinde Bezug.
