English: Only documentary mention of Walther von der Vogelweide in an itinerary account of the bishop of Passau, Wolfger von Erla, 1203-11-12. Text: "Walthero cantori de vogelweide pro pellicio v solidos longos" = To the singer Walther von der Vogelweide 5 solidi for a fur coat.
