Indorse.—To write ones name either on the backor face of a note, draft, or other negotiable paper.In a broad sense, to give ones name or support to;to sanction. In Sight.—Said of stocks of grain, cotton, coffee, orother merchandise available for immediate use. Grainstored in private warehouses, or held by producers,is not usually included in the supply in sight.
