| Description |
Deutsch: Die hier befindliche Grundschule in dem denkmalgeschützten Gebäude von 1912 musste zum 1. Februar 2010 wegen baulichen Sicherheitsmängeln schließen. Zuletzt wurden hier Schüler der 1. und 2. Klasse unterrichtet, die Schule für die 3. und 4. Klasse befand bzw. befindet sich in Mandern. Das Gebäude wurde an einen privaten Investor verkauft, der es nach einer Sanierung für Ferienwohnungen nutzen wollte. Nachdem diese Pläne nicht umgesetzt worden waren, kaufte es die Ortsgemeinde im Jahr 2013 zurück und wollte zunächst dort Betreutes Wohnen einrichten. Erfolgreich war dann der Umbau zu einem Café, dem Dienstsitz des Ortsbürgermeisters und barrierefreies Wohnen (2017/18). |
