| Description |
English: The "Waldkapelle" ("wood chapel") on the mountain Butznickel near Schloßborn (Taunus, Germany) with the "Ostkreuz" ("east cross") in the background. Chapel and cross were built at the beginning of the nineteenfifties on behalf of war refugees from former eastern parts of Germany. In spite of its name the chapel is no longer located in a wood due to the deforestations following the dryness of the years 2018/2019.
Deutsch: Die "Waldkapelle" auf dem Butznickel bei Schloßborn mit dem "Ostkreuz" im Hintergrund. Kapelle und Kreuz wurden Anfang der Fünfzigerjahre im Auftrag von Heimatvertriebenen aus den ehemaligen deutschen Ostgebieten errichtet. Entgegen ihrem Namen befindet die Kapelle sich nach den Abholzungen aufgrund der trockenen Jahre 2018/2019 nicht mehr im Wald. |
