Description
English: The Apatani women are part of the Apatani tribe, an indigenous group from the Ziro Valley in Arunachal Pradesh, India. They are known for their distinctive cultural practices and appearance. Apatani women traditionally adorn themselves with nose plugs made of cane and wear extensive tattoos on their faces and bodies. These practices have cultural and historical significance within their community.
