Wagon attachment from Königsbronn, Germany. Urnfield culture, Late Bronze Age

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The wagon grave in Königsbronn, unearthed in 1972 when a building pit was dug, is one of the highlights of the late Bronze Age in the country. The curved socket, decorated with a small bird, was probably on the drawbar or on the extensions of the wagon body. The other little birds, as well as the stars and spirals that were also found, were probably attached to this.
