Original caption for photo set: "The massive drip treatment for syphilis, the object of lengthy research by doctors of the U.S. Public Health Service, may be the answer to America's venereal disease control problem. These photographs show various operations in the treatment. Doctors of the Marine Hospital are assisted by technicians and nurses employed by the WPA. Interior."
