Claravalls és un poble agregat a Tàrrega, És al peu de la carretera que va de Tàrrega a Agramunt. L'antic castell domina la part alta del poble. El nucli antic del poble conserva l'estructura emmurallada, i actualment conserva un dels portals. L'església parroquial és dedicada a Sant Salvador i és d'estil neoclàssic. A l'altra banda del poble hi ha la capella de la mare de Déu dels Arcs i la creu de terme amb una gran riquesa escultòrica d'estil barroc.
