THE JONES CARS. IN street railway row—which being interpreted isaisle L—on the north side thereof and about midwaydown the Transportation annex, the visiting brothermay see two handsome and workmanlike exhibits of theskill of J. M. Jones Sons, of Troy, New York. This attractive and beautiful display of the car buildersand car decorators skill consists of two cars either of The advantages claimed for this car door are three. Easyopening and shutting of the door, easy and safe exit andample ingress and egress for the crowd. The interior of the car is beautifully finished in richmahogany, hand carved; the panels on the doors andpartitions being so arranged that a decided inlaid effectis obtained. The ceilings are of quartered oak decorated in gold andcolors. The deck glass is a white design on blue, with

which is sufficient to show that Jones Sons are not onlypioneer car builders but pioneers in every improvementin construction and decoration. THE CLOSED CAR is an i8-foot body, six-window type of the standard make,wired and framed for electric service. It is mounted on a ample room for the displaj of decorative, fancy and sani-tary comforts since there are five large and two smallventilators on each side. The Wilson ventilator adjus-ter is in use on this car, greatl) simplif3ing the trouble ofregulating the fresh air fund by a single action. Thethree center vents on each side bear the words, The JonesCar. The end vents are similarly lettered. THE.i JONES
