Hated to shoot into the sun this way but they were on the move so I did what I had to. Turned out, I was able to get the battleship USS North Carolina in the background on the other side of the Cape Fear as the van drove by. This was on the afternoon of July the Fourth. Hard to see at this resolution but the fireworks themselves were setup in the shelter area to the left of the battleship memorial.
