Description
Vue générale d'Athènes avec l'Acropole. - La prise de vue a été réalisée depuis l'hôtel Ypsilenti. Les quartiers de la rue Omirou et celui de Plaka s'étendent au pied du versant nord de l'Acropole. À l'angle nord-est du Parthénon, la petite maison qui servait de « musée provisoire » de l'Acropole est visible (elle est détruite en 1878). Cette épreuve appartient à un album publié en 1868 et intitulé Vues d'Athènes et de ses monuments, photographies d'après nature par Henri Beck.
