Икона написана в Москве в последней четверти XIX века, повторяет иконографию чудотворной московской святыни одноименного храма на улице Большой Ордынке. Икона была распилена на несколько частей, так называемый «чемоданный распил». Так нередко поступали те, кто спасал святыни от сожжения - распиливали по размеру чемодана и вывозили за рубеж. Сегодня, благодаря усилиям реставраторов, места распилов увидеть почти невозможно. |
