Summary

[edit]
Description

English: On campus student housing at campus Pleinlaan of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.

The student houses were designed by the Flemish architect Willy Van der Meeren, who used Fritz Stucjy's Variel system. He grouped the building blocks into apartments for four students. These apartments were grouped around a front garden in groups of three or six. These groups were joined in quarters with their own colour.

These student houses will be replaced by new high rise student housing as of 2016.
