Description
English: Vought F-8 Crusader in the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum.

The F-8 Crusader (originally F8U) was a single-engine aircraft carrier-based air superiority fighter aircraft[1] built by Vought.

This aircraft is painted in the colours of squadron VF-111 operating from the USS INtrepid, more specifically the one flown by LT Anthony J. Nargi, who downed a MiG 17 on September 19, 1968.

De Chance Vought F-8 Crusader was een Amerikaanse onderscheppingsjager opererend vanaf een vliegdekschip.

Dit toestel is geschilderd in de kleuren van squadron VF-111 dat opereerde vanop de USS Intrepid, meer specifiek zoals het toestel van lt.Anthony J. Nargi, die een MiG 17 neerschoot op 19 september 1968.
