Summary
[edit]DescriptionVon Geusau & anonymus, plattegrond Maastricht 2a (cropped).jpg |
English: Detail of a map of three monasteries in the city of Maastricht, the Netherlands. In this section the Bonnefanten Monastery or Sisters of the Holy Sepulchre. This and other maps were draughted for Baron Von Geusau, possibly by himself. The maps reflect the situation in Maastricht as it existed in the late 18th century, before the dissolution of the monasteries. They were published in an article entitled Korte geschiedenis der kloosters in Maastricht (Short history of the monasteries in Maastricht) in PSHAL, 1895. Photographed in 2017 at an exhibition in Centre Céramique. |
