Description
English: 4-km-wide volcanic crater on the Moon, in western Mare Fecunditatis, near crater Lubbock H, on the coordinates 3.07°S, 42.29°E. According to Zhang et al., 2018, it is located in a ruined impact crater, remains of whose rim are still seen at the top and left. Mosaic of photos by Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, taken by Narrow Angle Camera (NAC) 26 May 2012 from altitude 99 km and 13 April 2016 from altitude 78 km. Elevation of the Sun is approximately 21° in both cases. Width of the image is approximately 16 km, north is approximately up. See also Kaguya image with bigger span, photo by Apollo 11 and a paper by Hurwitz et al., 2013 with a catalogue of lunar sinuous rilles (the imaged rille is number 175 there).
