Čeština: Vladimír Cupák (* 4. července 1912 Brno – 12. září 1993 Jindřichův Hradec) byl příslušník československé zahraniční armády, který bojoval v rámci Royal Air Force a který byl po druhé světové válce pronásledován totalitním komunistickým režimem. Na snímku neznámého autora je zachycen ještě v uniformě, tedy před rokem 1949. Po únoru 1948 byl z československé armády (ke dni 1. března 1948) propuštěn. Začátkem 50. let 20. století byl nezákonně vězněn ve věznici Mírov.
English: Vladimír Cupák (* 4 July 1912 Brno - 12 September 1993 Jindřichův Hradec) was a member of the Czechoslovak Foreign Army who fought in the Royal Air Force and who was persecuted by the totalitarian communist regime after World War II. He is pictured by an unknown author in uniform, before 1949. He was discharged from the Czechoslovak army after February 1948 (as of 1 March 1948). In the early 1950s he was unlawfully imprisoned in the Mírov prison. |
