Description
Español: Juan el Mayo, o Jan Vermeyen, produjo esta vista en 1551, apenas cuatro años antes de que la ciudad argelina cayese en manos otomanas. Un cartelón reza en la sección inferior central: «En el año de Nuestro Señor de 1504 fue tomada Bugía, ciudad marítima de África, por el Católico Rey Fernando V y por el arzobispo de Toledo, de lo cual el pintor Juan Mayo dio cuenta a Carlos V, emperador de los Romanos y rey de España, año de 1551»
